These are really easy to make. Presuming you have a food processor, or a roommate with a food processor.
1 can vegetarian baked beans in tomato sauce
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
1 cup wheat gluten
3 tbsp garlic powder
4 tbsp dried herbs of choice (might I recommend sage, dill, thyme, basil or oregano?)
A couple tsp water
2 tsp salt
Throw it into food processor until mashed, blended, formed into a dough. Kneed it a little bit. Put into refrigerator to rest.
Take out of refrigerator. Divide into balls, roll it up. Put on well oiled baking sheet, and then brush with oil themselves.
Bake for 20 minutes at 400, then flip/rotate/somehow get off burned side and bake another 5 minutes.
Serve with tomato sauce. Be forewarned, they are really chewy the next day.
